			- 1 cup rolled oats
 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
 - 1/2 cup brown sugar
 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
 - 1 large egg
 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - 1 cup dried cranberries
 
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
 - In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
 - Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix well.
 - In another bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, baking soda, and salt.
 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
 - Fold in the dried cranberries.
 - Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
 - Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
 - Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
 
Notes
- For extra flavor, add 1/2 cup of chopped nuts or chocolate chips.
 - Allow cookies to cool completely for the best texture.
