Ingredients

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup Oktoberfest beer
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy and chop into pieces.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and whisk in the flour to create a roux.
  4. Gradually add the milk and beer, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  5. Stir in the cheddar cheese until melted, then mix in the cooked macaroni and turkey bacon.
  6. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
