Description

An easy and comforting one-pan chicken dinner with buttered egg noodles, creamy garlic sauce, and a touch of Parmesan.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Add egg noodles, cover, and cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.
  6. Stir in butter and grated Parmesan until fully melted and the sauce becomes creamy.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet to heat through. Garnish with parsley if desired.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use boneless chicken thighs for a juicier version.
  • Half-and-half can substitute for heavy cream if desired.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Add a splash of broth when reheating to keep it creamy.
