- 8 pancakes
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, maple syrup, baking powder, and salt.
- Layer pancakes and cooked sausage in a greased casserole dish.
- Pour the egg mixture over the pancakes and sausage.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
