Description

Delicious pan-seared steak with a rich garlic butter sauce, served alongside herb-infused potatoes and green beans for a complete meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 steaks of your choice
  • 4 tablespoons garlic butter
  • 1 pound baby potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (thyme or rosemary)
  • 8 ounces green beans
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steaks with salt and pepper, then sear them in the hot skillet for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  3. Add garlic butter to the skillet in the last minute of cooking, spooning it over the steaks.
  4. Meanwhile, boil the baby potatoes until tender, then toss them with olive oil and dried herbs.
  5. Steam or sauté the green beans until bright and tender.
  6. Serve the steaks with herb potatoes and green beans on the side.

Notes

  • For a more flavorful steak, let it rest for 5 minutes after cooking.
