- 2 steaks of your choice
- 4 tablespoons garlic butter
- 1 pound baby potatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried herbs (thyme or rosemary)
- 8 ounces green beans
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper, then sear them in the hot skillet for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Add garlic butter to the skillet in the last minute of cooking, spooning it over the steaks.
- Meanwhile, boil the baby potatoes until tender, then toss them with olive oil and dried herbs.
- Steam or sauté the green beans until bright and tender.
- Serve the steaks with herb potatoes and green beans on the side.
Notes
- For a more flavorful steak, let it rest for 5 minutes after cooking.
- Feel free to substitute the green beans with your favorite vegetable.
