Ingredients

- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup jelly or jam of your choice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and baking soda.
- Mix well until the dough is smooth.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Using a fork, flatten each ball and create a crisscross pattern on top.
- Make a small indentation in the center of each cookie.
- Fill the indentation with jelly or jam.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- For a different flavor, try using almond butter instead of peanut butter.
- You can use different types of jelly or jam for variety.
