- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- In a saucepan, heat milk and butter until warm; add to the dry ingredients.
- Add egg and vanilla; mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and spread with cinnamon and chopped pecans.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top before rolling the dough.
- Slice into rolls and place in a greased baking dish.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
- Drizzle remaining caramel sauce over hot rolls before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add vanilla extract to the caramel sauce.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
