Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In a saucepan, heat milk and butter until warm; add to the dry ingredients.
  3. Add egg and vanilla; mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth.
  5. Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and spread with cinnamon and chopped pecans.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top before rolling the dough.
  8. Slice into rolls and place in a greased baking dish.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
  10. Drizzle remaining caramel sauce over hot rolls before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add vanilla extract to the caramel sauce.
