Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend flour, butter, granulated sugar, and salt.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan to form the crust.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes until lightly golden.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and chopped pecans.
  6. Pour the pecan mixture over the baked crust.
  7. Bake for an additional 30 minutes or until set.
