Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, butter, and granulated sugar to create the crust.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together brown sugar, eggs, corn syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  5. Add the chopped pecans to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  6. Pour the pecan mixture over the crust.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set.
  8. Let it cool before cutting into bars.
