			- 1 cup all-purpose flour
 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter
 - 1/2 cup brown sugar
 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
 - 1/2 cup chopped pecans
 - 1 egg
 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
 
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
 - In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
 - Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
 - In another bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture.
 - Fold in the chopped pecans.
 - Drop tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
 - Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
 
Notes
- For an extra touch, drizzle melted chocolate on top once cooled.
 - These cookies can be served warm or at room temperature.
