Description

Pecan Pie Crescents are a delightful treat, perfect for cozy evenings and gatherings. These pastries combine the rich flavors of pecan pie with the flaky texture of crescent rolls, creating a sweet indulgence that is easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Roll out the crescent dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, mix the chopped pecans, brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  4. Spoon the pecan mixture onto the wider end of each crescent triangle.
  5. Roll up the dough, enclosing the filling, and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • For an extra touch, drizzle melted chocolate over the cooled crescents.
  • You can use chopped walnuts instead of pecans for a different flavor.
