- 8 ounces penne pasta
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook penne pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
- In the same skillet, sauté onions and bell peppers until softened.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- Bring to a simmer and add the cooked pasta, turkey bacon, Worcestershire sauce, and cheese.
- Stir until the cheese is melted and the mixture is creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
Notes
- For a lighter version, you can replace heavy cream with evaporated milk.
