- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 jalapeños, finely chopped
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
- In a bowl, mix the cheddar cheese, jalapeños, garlic powder, and salt.
- Spread the cheese mixture over half of the puff pastry sheet.
- Fold the other half of the pastry over the cheese mixture and cut into strips.
- Twist each strip and place on a baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- For more spice, add extra jalapeños.
