These Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies are the perfect soft batch treat that blends fall flavors with a delicious twist.

			- 1 cup pumpkin puree
 - 1 cup brown sugar
 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
 - 2 large eggs
 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
 - 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - 1 cup chocolate chips
 
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
 - In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and softened butter until smooth.
 - Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture, and mix well until fully combined.
 - In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
 - Fold in the chocolate chips.
 - Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
 - Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
 - Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
 
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add a pinch of clove.
