- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 4 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Core the apples and place them in a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt until combined.
- Add oats and chopped pecans to the mixture and stir well.
- Spoon the mixture into the cored apples, packing it tightly.
- Top each apple with a tablespoon of butter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until apples are tender.
