Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
  • whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until steaming.
  2. Whisk in the cocoa powder, pumpkin puree, sugar, pumpkin spice, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Continue to heat for another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Pour the hot chocolate into mugs and top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin spice.
