- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the wet ingredients: oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, and vanilla.
- Mix the wet and dry ingredients until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- For the cheesecake layer, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Spread the cheesecake mixture over the cooled cake.
- Top with fresh strawberries.
Notes
- For a stronger red color, adjust the food coloring to your preference.
- Serve chilled for the best flavor.
