- 1 crust graham cracker pie crust
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup root beer
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup root beer float ice cream
- 3 tablespoons whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Gradually stir in root beer.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
- Remove from heat and whisk in eggs and vanilla.
- Pour mixture into the graham cracker crust.
- Bake for 20 minutes, then let it cool completely.
- Once cool, top with root beer float ice cream and whipped cream.
- Chill for at least one hour before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger root beer flavor, add more root beer extract.
- Serve with an extra drizzle of root beer for presentation.
