- 4 large russet potatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Peel and thinly slice the potatoes.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat, and then add cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder; mix well.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the cheese and half of the turkey bacon.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cheese, and turkey bacon.
- Pour the cream mixture over the top of the layered potatoes.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- This dish can be made ahead of time; just reheat in the oven before serving.
- Feel free to substitute regular bacon if preferred.
