Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped turkey bacon, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs in a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, until cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, bring beef broth to a simmer in a saucepan.
  6. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth, then stir into simmering broth to thicken.
  7. Once meatballs are done, serve them drizzled with the thickened broth.

Notes

  • For added flavor, sauté onions and mushrooms to add on top of the meatballs before serving.
  • These meatballs can also be served over mashed potatoes for a heartier meal.
