Description

This Salisbury Steak Recipe features ground turkey and turkey bacon for a healthier twist on a classic comfort food.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble it.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground turkey, crumbled bacon, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into patties.
  4. In a frying pan, brown the patties on both sides.
  5. Add beef broth and simmer until cooked through.
  6. Mix cornstarch with water and stir to thicken the gravy.

Notes
