This Salisbury Steak Recipe features ground turkey and turkey bacon for a healthier twist on a classic comfort food.

- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble it.
- In a bowl, mix ground turkey, crumbled bacon, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- In a frying pan, brown the patties on both sides.
- Add beef broth and simmer until cooked through.
- Mix cornstarch with water and stir to thicken the gravy.
Notes
- For added flavor, use seasoned breadcrumbs.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
