Description

A comforting and easy-to-make salmon sushi bake that the whole family will love.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound sushi rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 pound cooked salmon, flaked
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 sheet nori, cut into strips
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  3. In a pot, combine sushi rice and water; bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer. Cover and cook for 18-20 minutes.
  4. Fluff the cooked rice and spread it evenly in a baking dish.
  5. In a bowl, mix together the flaked salmon, mayonnaise, sriracha, and soy sauce.
  6. Spread the salmon mixture over the rice.
  7. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Top with green onions, nori strips, avocado slices, and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the sriracha to taste for more or less spice.
  • Serve with extra soy sauce for dipping.
