These Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars are the perfect indulgent treat for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually blend into the creamed mixture.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Spread half of the dough in a greased baking dish. Drizzle with salted caramel sauce, then spread the remaining dough on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- For an extra treat, sprinkle some sea salt on top right after removing from the oven.
- These bars can be served warm with ice cream for a delicious dessert.
