Description
Delight in these salted caramel oatmeal cookies, combining chewy oats with sweet caramel.

			- 1 cup rolled oats
 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
 - 1/2 cup brown sugar
 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
 - 1/2 cup butter, softened
 - 2 large eggs
 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - 1 cup caramel bits
 - 1/2 cup sea salt, for topping
 
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
 - In a bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
 - Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
 - In another bowl, combine rolled oats, flour, baking soda, and salt.
 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
 - Fold in the caramel bits.
 - Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheets.
 - Sprinkle sea salt on top before baking.
 - Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
 - Let cool before serving.
 
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding chocolate chips.
