- 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper to the sausage. Stir until well combined.
- Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll it up.
- Place the rolled crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding some chopped green onions to the sausage mixture.
- You can prepare the filling a day in advance and store it in the refrigerator.
