- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 package wonton wrappers
- oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shrimp, green onion, and garlic powder.
- Place a spoonful of the mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Moisten the edges with water and fold to seal.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the wontons until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider mixing in some chili flakes or herbs.
- Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying to get a crispy texture.
