- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 onion diced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 cups potatoes cubed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove from pan and crumble.
- In the same skillet, brown the ground turkey until fully cooked.
- Add the onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Transfer the mixture to a slow cooker and add beef broth, diced tomatoes, potatoes, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and bacon.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese before serving.
