Description

These spicy cheddar-jalapeño meatball poppers combine juicy turkey meatballs with a crispy turkey bacon twist for a delicious appetizer that packs a punch!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 jalapeño, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, cheddar cheese, jalapeño, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined, then form into meatballs.
  4. Wrap each meatball with a piece of chopped turkey bacon and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through and the bacon is crispy.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra spice, add more jalapeños or a dash of cayenne pepper.
