Description

A comforting and flavorful soup featuring tender dumplings filled with spicy shrimp.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup scallions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 package dumpling wrappers
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste
  • 1 cup bok choy, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, scallions, garlic, ginger, and chili paste to make the filling.
  2. Place a small spoonful of filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper and fold to seal.
  3. In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a boil and add dumplings.
  4. Cook dumplings for about 5-7 minutes or until they float to the surface.
  5. Add bok choy and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less chili paste.
  • Consider using fresh herbs for added flavor.
