A comforting and flavorful soup featuring tender dumplings filled with spicy shrimp.
Ingredients

- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup scallions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 package dumpling wrappers
- 1 tablespoon chili paste
- 1 cup bok choy, chopped
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, scallions, garlic, ginger, and chili paste to make the filling.
- Place a small spoonful of filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper and fold to seal.
- In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a boil and add dumplings.
- Cook dumplings for about 5-7 minutes or until they float to the surface.
- Add bok choy and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less chili paste.
- Consider using fresh herbs for added flavor.
