Delicious and easy to prepare, spinach and cheese squares are the perfect snack for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package of phyllo pastry sheets
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Lay out phyllo sheets and brush with melted butter.
- Layer several sheets and then spread the spinach mixture evenly.
- Roll the phyllo tightly and place it on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing into squares.
Notes
- These squares can be made ahead of time and frozen.
- For added flavor, you can include herbs like dill or parsley.
