Description
An easy, crowd-pleasing strawberry cheesecake dump cake made with cake mix, strawberry pie filling, and cream cheese. Quick, creamy, and perfect for any occasion.

- 1 box yellow or white cake mix
- 1 (21 oz) can strawberry pie filling
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- Fresh strawberries, sliced (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry filling and gently spread without fully mixing.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly on top of the strawberry and cream cheese layers. Do not stir.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over the dry cake mix, covering as much as possible.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh sliced strawberries if desired.
Notes
- For a less sweet version, use reduced sugar pie filling.
- Lemon cake mix can be used for a tart flavor twist.
- Great served warm with vanilla ice cream or chilled from the fridge.
- Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
