- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 pound powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs; mix until smooth.
- Fold in the chopped strawberries.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth; drop spoonfuls over the cake batter.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
