A creamy, cold Strawberry Shortcake Frappuccino made with fresh strawberry puree, vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream. A perfect dessert-style summer drink inspired by the Starbucks secret menu.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup milk (any type)
- 1/4 cup strawberry puree (fresh or frozen)
- 1/4 cup vanilla ice cream
- 1/4 cup ice cubes
- 1 tablespoon sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Whipped cream (for topping)
- Fresh strawberries, sliced (for topping)
- Shortbread cookies, crumbled (optional)
Instructions
- Blend 1/2 cup hulled strawberries until smooth to make the puree. Strain to remove seeds if desired.
- In a blender, combine milk, strawberry puree, ice cream, ice cubes, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Blend on high speed for 30–45 seconds or until smooth and creamy.
- If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of milk. If too thin, add more ice or ice cream.
- Pour into a tall glass, top with whipped cream, strawberries, and crumbled shortbread cookies.
- Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy!
Notes
- Use frozen strawberries for extra frostiness.
- Dairy-free milk and vegan ice cream work great for vegan versions.
- Adjust sugar to taste or substitute with maple syrup or stevia.
- Shortbread can be swapped with graham crackers or vanilla wafers.
