- 1 pound flank steak
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 green onion, sliced
Instructions
- Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce and brown sugar. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add the steak to the pan, cooking until browned.
- Pour the soy sauce mixture over the beef, stir to coat.
- Cook until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
- Garnish with green onions before serving.
