- 2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 prepared pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the mashed sweet potatoes with sugar.
- Add milk, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until set.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add a tablespoon of butter to the mixture.
- This pie can be served warm or cold.
