- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups sliced apples
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sugar (for apples)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
- In another bowl, toss the sliced apples with cinnamon and 1/4 cup sugar.
- Arrange the apple slices on top of the cheesecake mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the center is set.
- Allow to cool before removing the sides of the springform pan.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Serve with caramel sauce or whipped cream for extra flavor.
- This dessert can be made a day ahead for better flavor.
