Description

A delicious and easy recipe for Bacon Cheeseburger Rice made with turkey bacon.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  3. Add onion and garlic, cooking until translucent.
  4. Stir in uncooked rice, beef broth, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is cooked.
  6. Stir in cheese until melted, then crumble the bacon on top.

Notes

  • For added flavor, substitute beef broth with chicken broth.
  • Garnish with green onions for extra freshness.
