Description

Baked Ziti is a comforting dish that combines pasta, cheese, and meat, ideal for family meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the turkey bacon until crispy.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, turkey bacon, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some grated Parmesan cheese on top before baking.
