Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, mash the bananas and mix with buttermilk and vanilla extract.
  5. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the banana mixture.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
