- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut muffin pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fill each muffin cup about 3/4 full with the batter.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool slightly before removing from the pan.
- In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon for coating.
- While still warm, roll each muffin in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of nutmeg to the dry ingredients.
