- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1.5 cups warm water
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and yeast together.
- Add warm water, rosemary, and garlic, and stir until well combined.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rise for 12 to 18 hours.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and place a Dutch oven inside to heat up.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface, shape it into a ball, and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Carefully remove the Dutch oven, place the dough inside, cover, and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding chili flakes to the dough.
- This bread is best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored for a few days.
