- 2 pounds chuck roast, cut into cubes
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 cups carrots, chopped
- 2 cups potatoes, diced

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine the chuck roast, beef broth, carrots, potatoes, celery, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender and the vegetables are cooked through.
- During the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the peas.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
