Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chuck roast, cut into cubes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups carrots, chopped
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the chuck roast, beef broth, carrots, potatoes, celery, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender and the vegetables are cooked through.
  4. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the peas.
